Introduction

JordanSheppard is a global executive search practice, we gather and use necessary information about individuals to provide such services to our clients. We are the preferred search partner to both major international conglomerates and entrepreneurial / PE firms.

We provide a variety of services to our clients including, but not limited to: Executive Search, Business Intelligence, M&A Due-Diligence, Succession Analysis. The information gathered is stored on a highly confidential database only accessible by JordanSheppard employees and affiliates compliant with local regulation.

By submitting or sharing your data to JordanSheppard, you signify your agreement with this policy.

What data we gather

Due to the services we offer JordanSheppard may collect personal data which we have obtained from other people or organizations, or the individual has provided us with, such as:
Name, email address, telephone number
Current employment and employment history
Demographic information, such as postcode, preferences and interests
Education & professional credentials
Other information relevant to client enquiries
We may collect sensitive data when provided by an individual or when required for recruitment services such as:

How we use your data

We use the personal information we collect in order to perform our various services to our client base. Specifically, we may use data during the process of:
Executing searches for potential Candidates on behalf of clients.
Assessing your suitability for client opportunities.

Informing you of open executive positions that may be suitable for you.

Introducing you to clients.

  • Verifying your educational credentials, professional diplomas and certificates.
  • Performing relevant searches for information on your personal and professional life publicly available via social media services (e.g. Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.), on the Internet or within data you have provided.
  • Providing integration services during onboard processes.
  • Continuing communication following placement, as a client-contact for the placement of other candidates or as a source of information on potential candidates for other clients.
  • Internal processing of data within internal secure databases

Who do we share your data with?

We share information about you in the limited circumstances spelled out below and with appropriate safeguards on your privacy:

Subsidiaries, Employees, and Independent Contractors: We may disclose information about you to our subsidiaries, our employees, and individuals who are our independent contractors that need to know the information in order to help us provide our Services or to process the information on our behalf. We require our subsidiaries, employees, and independent contractors to follow this Privacy Policy for personal information that we share with them.

Third Party Vendors: We may share information about you with third party vendors who need to know information about you in order to provide their services to us, or to provide their services to you or our clients.

How long do we store your data for?

We generally discard information about you when we no longer need the information for the purposes for which we collect and use it-which are described in the section above on How we use your data-and we are not legally required to continue to keep it.

What happens if we send your data out of the EU?

As JordanSheppard's Services are offered worldwide, the information about you that we process when you use the Services in the EU may be used, stored, and/or accessed by individuals operating outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who work for us, other members of our group of companies, or third-party data processors. This is required for the purposes listed in the How We Use Information section above. When providing information about you to entities outside the EEA, we will take appropriate measures to ensure that the recipient protects your personal information adequately in accordance with this Privacy Policy as required by applicable law. We advise you to not provide information that is personally sensitive and is not required during the process of presenting your information to a client or potential future employer. Restricting certain information may in some circumstances limit the service we are able to provide to you.
Set Your Browser to Reject Cookies: You can usually choose to set your browser to remove or reject browser cookies before using JordanSheppard's websites, with the drawback that certain features of JordanSheppard's websites may not function properly without the aid of cookies.
